JJ-CCR Level 3 Instructor

Adam started diving in 1995 aged 12 and knew instantly he had to teach people to dive. Adam wanted them to experience the same thrill and emotion of the underwater the way he had. As soon as Adam reached 18 he left the UK for Dahab, Egypt to complete Divemaster and Instructor programs. Within 3 years he became a PADI Master Instructor having issued over 400 Certifications. Egypt was where he met Tom Steiner (who he went on to train with as a Technical Diving Instructor in early 2000) and it was at that time he developed a passion for teaching with a constant strive for perfection.

As one of the busiest instructors in diving, you can find Adam teaching almost every day in various worldwide destinations. Among others, Thailand, Egypt, Mexico, Turkey, Italy, UAE, USA, Germany, Croatia, Holland, Spain, Maldives, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Mozambique, Dominican Republic and more. Adams passion is teaching, passing on knowledge & skills in recreational, technical, sidemount and closed circuit rebreather, both at user and instructor / instructor trainer and trainer trainer level. Adam is constantly pushing raise the bar of scuba diving, challenge old perceptions and philosophies to make exceptional thinking divers and dive professionals.

As Head of Technical Diving for Scuba Schools International Adams duties including designing and developing a full range of technical CCR, Over Head Environment and Open Circuit programs. Responsibility to define the direction for technical diving with SSI and make the gap between recreational and technical smaller. Training instructors, instructor trainers, franchise owners and area managers, working with dive centres across the globe to develop business, Technical Scuba Equipment design for SSI's parent company Mares and the HTM Group.

Adam has been behind many great products and brands within scuba diving not just owning the UKs largest certifying dive centre, he has been the face of Apeks, a Mares XR product designer and ambassador, Fourth Element team diver, BBC Diving advisor, Tekcamp instructor, software tester for Poseidon rebreathers and much more.

Adam is a avid JJ-CC Diver and Instructor at all levels, training is focused on the real world diving and is performance not time based. Adams students leave the programs with Knowledge, skills and experience to push their diving forward with the confidence required of a top class rebreather diver.
