JJ-CCR Level 1 Instructor
Daniel started as a teenager in the south of Chile after which
in 1993 he graduated as a "Chilean Navy Seal". As a Navy Seal he
became Diving Instructor in 2006. During his time in the Navy he
gained extensive experience in various harsh conditions from the
desert of Atacama to the eternal
ice in the Magellan straight.
He joined IANTD at that time and started his own dive centre "Tamarugo Dive" concentrating on discovering new wrecks and expeditions to historic places. In 2007 he managed the biggest wreck search in the Chilean history locating several undiscovered wrecks along the pacific coast of south America. After retiring as commander in the Chilean Navy he now is a full time technical and rebreather instructor teaching the ANDI system.
